Faith In Jesus Comes From Who We Are
We're more than just a food truck. We're a community united by faith and driven to serve. Would you like to support our mission?
If your answer is YES, that would be AWESOME!!!

The inspiration for my work comes from 33 years of experience with Local 150 in underground utility operations, where I’ve witnessed realities that many overlook. The escalating homeless crisis is one such reality. You can explore it further here: Mrbprayerchannel. Being part of America’s strongest union, Local 150 Operating Engineers, has empowered me to retire and dedicate myself to making a difference in Chicago. I vividly recall arriving at a downtown job site and seeing a man and a woman covered with a blanket, sleeping on a bed behind a dumpster. At least they had a blanket and a bed, but this should not be their reality. Tragically, I’ve witnessed people succumb to drug overdoses just ten feet from my crew, and a colleague was shot in the legs. If you’re indifferent, it’s likely because you haven’t seen it for yourself. I, however, cannot turn a blind eye. So, I raise my hands and say, “Lord, let me serve you by serving them.”
I believe I was inspired by the Holy Spirit to pray the Lord's Prayer out loud on YouTube MrB-prayerchannel without knowing why I followed that voice. I am truly content even if the channel touched just a few souls.
My faith and prayer has led me to another feeling in my heart that I should start the Good Samaritan Mobile Soup Kitchen. I have been praying for the struggles of individuals and families for over three decades, yet I see these struggles continued to grow. I believe the Holy Spirit compelled me to take real hands on action. Now that I am a retired person and have more time on my hands, I've made it my mission to do my part to ensure that no one in my community goes hungry. I want to provide food and assistance to those in need with dignity and respect.
My name is Bryon and I welcome you to my mission. My mission is a testimony to my faith in Jesus. I truly believe Our Heavenly Father empowers us to embody Jesus' presence here on Earth. Together, we can shine as a beacon of His light, inspiring others to say, "In Jesus, I trust and in Jesus, I believe." I want to do my part to create positive change in this city in His name. Nothing more, nothing less and nothing else.
Each person possesses goodness within. We simply need to uncover it. I really believe that by acts of kindness and goodwill we open ourselves to receive heavenly gifts of true peace, joy, and love.
I look forward to meeting and working together with you or your organization. Whether you are inspired to take action by the Holy Spirit or inspired by the kindness of your heart and the desire to help lift up another human being.
